Ackerman Pierce Ltd is seeking an experienced Outreach LSA to provide one-to-one tutoring for children waiting for school placements. Our team works closely with County Councils and Schools to deliver high-quality support to students with a range of additional complex needs.
About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Outreach LSA to join our team. As an Outreach LSA, you will be responsible for providing face-to-face provision to students who require access to alternative provision due to SEN/SEMH. Your experience in delivering differentiated National Curriculum core subjects and exceptional behaviour management strategies will be invaluable in supporting our students.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver one-to-one tutoring to children with complex needs
- Work closely with County Councils and Schools to provide high-quality support
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the needs of each student
- Provide face-to-face provision to students who require access to alternative provision
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure seamless support for students
- Background teaching in English, Maths, Science, or SEN classes ranging from KS1-KS5
- QTS status (or equivalent) or unqualified with two years' experience teaching NC core subjects
- Experience working with ASD/EBD/SEMH and associated complex needs
- Two years' previous experience working within a UK school
