Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Age UK. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our pop-up store, ensuring that our customers receive an excellent service and that our sales and profits are maximized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the store's inventory, including ordering and receiving stock, and maintaining accurate records.
- Supervise and train a team of staff and volunteers to provide excellent customer service and to achieve sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure that the store is maintained in a clean and safe condition, and that all health and safety procedures are followed.
- Manage the store's budget, including forecasting and managing expenses.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide excellent service to customers.
- Ability to lift and carry bags of stock up to 10kg.
