Mechanical Pre-Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Pre-Construction Manager to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment. As a Mechanical Pre-Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing large-scale projects in the UK and Ireland, ensuring that design deliverables are produced on schedule and budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Management of Building Services Design process to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
- Advice on material selection and procurement
- Engagement with key specialist subcontractors to facilitate design completion
- Ensuring design compliance with current legislation, standards, and codes of practice
- Collaboration with commercial and estimating teams to brief them on the agreed scope of works
- Client engagement to discuss and review proposals
- Identification and mitigation of potential risks, opportunities, and hazards
- Experience managing mechanical large-scale contracts
- Previous experience in a similar role or from an MEP Consultancy background
- Excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills
- Experience and understanding of multi-disciplinary design processes and design coordination
- Good commercial understanding of the Pre-Contract tender process
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
