Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Magdalene Utilities Delivery Team in the UK. As a key member of our Contract Delivery team, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end commercial management and control of all projects within your area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier management within the contract
  • Contract administration including issuing of appropriate contractual notices
  • Maximise margin through effective commercial controls
  • Minimise inefficiency through effective risk management and cost control
  • Provide critical commercial support to the operational project teams and PMO
  • Management accounts and reporting
  • Any other commercial management activity required

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified Quantity Surveyor or relevant experience
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet key deadlines in a pressurised, target driven environment, whilst maintaining a customer focused ethos
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to work independently and in a team based environment to achieve programme targets
  • Demonstrable willingness to be flexible and be adaptable to changing priorities
  • Telecoms experience is desirable but not essential subject to the candidate demonstrating experience in the responsibilities outlined above
