Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Magdalene Utilities Delivery Team in the UK.

The ideal candidate will be based in either Coventry or Cambridgeshire and will be responsible for providing end-to-end commercial management and control of all projects within their area of responsibility.

This role will support operational delivery by driving commercial excellence and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximize project profitability
  • Manage and control project costs, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure commercial alignment and effective project delivery
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks, ensuring that projects are delivered safely and efficiently

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in commercial management and control of projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
