Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to provide on-site installation, maintenance, and repair services for our clients in Dunfermline. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.

Salary Range and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is £50,000-£70,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including company vehicle, tools, and travel expenses covered, health insurance, and retirement plans.

Key Accountabilities
  • Install and configure equipment at customer locations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems, utilizing advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Provide expert training and support to customers on equipment operation, enhancing their knowledge and confidence.
  • Ensure accurate records and reports of service activities, adhering to regulatory requirements and internal standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A degree or certification in Engineering or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in technical principles.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Field Service Engineer role or similar, with a proven track record of success.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently to customer sites.
