As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the care home, working closely with the Home Manager to ensure the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Home Manager in the absence of the Home Manager and take charge of the day-to-day running of the care home.
  • Manage and have responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements, ensuring compliance and excellence in care delivery.
  • Ensure residents receive the highest standards of professional support, promoting growth, independence, and life opportunities.
  • Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving residents and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care programs within the home.

Requirements:

  • Hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with residents, families, and external care professionals.
  • Have a good working knowledge of CQC standards and be able to maintain excellent working relationships with staffing teams and external partners.
