Job Details

We are seeking a Train Driver with existing LNW and/or West Midlands route knowledge to join our team. As a key player, you will ensure a safe and reliable service operation of freight trains, working with rostering and training teams, driver standards managers, delivery managers, and staff at all levels.

Person Specification
  • Train Driver Experience with existing LNW and/or West Midlands route knowledge.
  • Ensure safety of the line and all employees and public that may be affected by the operation of trains.
  • A clean safety record.
  • A current PTS (third rail) appropriate to CTRL.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Flexibility with working shift patterns.
  • Ability to identify competency standards required as a result of legislation, operational standards and safety procedures and maintain same by audit and surveillance.
