Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Train Driver to join our team in the LNW/West Midlands region. As a Train Driver, you will be responsible for operating freight trains safely and efficiently, ensuring a best-in-class service for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate freight trains on the LNW/West Midlands route, ensuring safe and reliable service operations.
  • Work with rostering and training teams, driver standards managers, delivery managers, and staff at all levels to ensure freight services run safely and on time.
  • Ensure the safety of the line, employees, and the public affected by train operations.
  • Meet safety and operational standards, maintaining a clean safety record and adhering to relevant legislation and procedures.
Requirements
  • Train Driver experience with existing LNW and/or West Midlands route knowledge.
  • A clean safety record and current PTS (third rail) appropriate to CTRL.
  • A full UK driving license and flexibility with working shift patterns.
  • Ability to identify competency standards required by legislation, operational standards, and safety procedures, and maintain same by audit and surveillance.
