About the Role

As a Lead UI Artist at Tripledot Studios, you will be responsible for developing the user interface of our games in collaboration with the Art Director. You will also mentor and guide the UI team members to deliver high-quality, engaging, and relevant UI designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the current Mobile Games market and prevailing design styles to produce engaging and relevant UI designs.
  • Demonstrate a discerning perspective of good UI design and articulate your preferences and reasoning behind them.
  • Design and craft clean, professional-grade UI assets that enhance the gaming experience.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of your designs.
  • Mentor and guide the UI team members to foster growth, skill development, and overall team improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the ever-evolving landscape of UI design and showcase an eagerness to learn new technical skills.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Art or a related field.
  • Strong portfolio of UI Art & Design showcasing a range of varying styles.
  • Understanding of current Mobile Games market and its popular design styles.
  • Professional expertise in Photoshop and/or Illustrator.
  • Proven experience in the entire game development process, from pitch to finish product.
  • Knowledge of Unity, particularly its UI system, is a huge bonus.
  • Experience working and communicating closely with developers.
  • Fluent spoken English.
  • Able to work with tight schedules and deadlines.
  • Based in Indonesia, Jakarta, or willing to relocate to Jakarta.
  • 4 years of experience in the same field.
