We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team at TeacherActive. Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-to-one and group support to students with additional needs, ensuring they are fully engaged in lessons.
- Assist in the delivery of tailored learning plans, adapting activities to meet the emotional and behavioural needs of each child.
- Build strong, positive relationships with students, helping them feel supported and understood.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create a holistic learning environment.
- Manage challenging behaviour with confidence, patience, and a calm approach.
- Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, specifically Autism Spectrum Conditions and behavioural difficulties.
- Confidence in supporting students from Key Stage 3 to 4.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to working with children.
