About the Role

Fugro NL Services B.V. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in the development of seabed drilling and subsea installation tools. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative solutions and creative problem-solving to support our global projects in offshore renewables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop specifications, budgets, and programs for seabed drilling and subsea installation tools
  • Lead conceptual and detail design, engineering calculations, and analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
Requirements
  • Proven experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in a marine or heavy industrial background
  • Demonstrable experience in preparing technical drawings and engineering documentation
  • Strong understanding of 2D and 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Experience with hydraulic system design or low-volume, high-value machinery development is highly desirable
