About the Role

Fugro is a leading provider of geo-data and services for the offshore renewables sector. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for seabed drilling and subsea installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop specifications, budgets, and programs for seabed drilling and subsea installations tools
  • Provide innovative solutions and creative problem-solving to assist with the development of new technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver differentiation through technology in our products and service delivery
Requirements
  • Proven experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in a marine or heavy industrial background
  • Demonstrable experience in preparing technical drawings and engineering documentation
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks or AutoCAD
  • Previous experience or competency in hydraulic system design or low-volume, high-value machinery development
