About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Development Engineer to join our team at ABB. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the preparation of technical specifications that align with project requirements. This includes preparing or approving engineering deliverables, performing technical reviews to ensure compliance with customer specifications, and evaluating and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments in projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical specifications aligned with project requirements
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of projects
• Conduct technical reviews to ensure deliverables meet customer technical specifications

Requirements

The successful candidate should possess a degree in Engineering (B.Eng or M.Eng) and minimum 6-8 years of experience in process or safety systems. Good knowledge of process or ICSS and safety systems, fire & gas protection systems or emergency shutdown systems is required. Experience in ABB systems like 800xA, Symphony plus, SG400, AC400, AC800M, Infi90, AC500 is an added advantage.

Estimated Salary Range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience)
