Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Educational Psychologist to provide psychological services to children, families, and schools in the community.
Role Details
This is a permanent role with an estimated salary of £72,920 per annum, based on national averages for similar roles in Wolverhampton.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver psychological services to children, families, and schools within the community.
- Conduct assessments and interventions with individuals and groups, providing insights and strategies to support their development.
- Collaborate effectively within a multiagency area team, contributing to a holistic approach in addressing the needs of children.
- Provide expertise and support to schools and professionals on best practices in educational psychology.
- Develop and implement programs that aid in the educational and social inclusion of young people with special needs.
Requirements
- A good honours degree in Psychology or equivalent.
- Postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology (or working towards).
- Eligibility for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) (or working towards).
