Trainee Setter Opportunity

Pro-Found Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Trainee Setter to join our client's team in Denby, near Ripley. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in production or manufacturing to train as a Setter.

Job Details
  • Hours: Static nights, 6pm - 6am, on a 4 on 4 off rotation
  • Pay: £13.41 per hour to start, plus £20.12 per hour for overtime
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure production requirements and standards are consistently met
  • Conduct quality inspections
  • Perform heavy lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 25KG
  • Pack and wrap uPVC profiles
  • Label profiles
  • Load profiles
  • Carry out general warehouse duties
  • Train to operate machinery, including feeding, slitting, and packing
Requirements
  • Ability to problem-solve
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Good communication and listening skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivation
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Preferred Knowledge
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, particularly in the uPVC industry
  • Understanding of the entire production process
Experience
  • Previous experience in manufacturing is essential
