Trainee Setter Opportunity

Pro-Found Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Trainee Setter to join our client's team in Denby, near Ripley. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in production or manufacturing to train as a Setter.

Job Details
  • Static Nights: 6pm - 6am on a 4 on 4 off rotation
  • Nights Rate: £13.41 per hour to start, plus £20.12 per hour for overtime
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure production requirements and standards are consistently met
  • Quality inspection and control
  • Heavy lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 25KG
  • Packing and wrapping U PVC profiles
  • Labelling profiles
  • Loading profiles
  • General warehouse duties
  • Training to operate machinery, including feeding, slitting, and packing
Requirements
  • Ability to problem-solve and think critically
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Good communication and listening skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Self-motivation and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, particularly in the U PVC industry
  • Understanding of the entire production process
