An exciting opportunity has arisen in the West Northumberland Community Treatment Team for an EMDR Therapist to join the team for a 12-month fixed term, part-time contract.

The West Northumberland Community Treatment Team is a friendly, supportive multi-disciplinary team based in Northumberland, comprising community psychiatric nurses, occupational therapists, psychiatrists, psychological professionals, pharmacists, nurse prescribers, along with other secondary care mental health clinicians.

We are seeking a talented and committed UK registered mental health professional with experience in working with adults experiencing a range of complex and trauma-related mental health difficulties.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality EMDR therapy to adults experiencing complex and trauma-related mental health difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to provide person-centered care.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of the team's goals and objectives.
