Employee Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Benefits Consultant to join our team at US012 Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC. As a Benefits Consultant, you will work closely with our clients to deliver exceptional customer service and provide expert advice on employee benefits.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage long and short-range benefit strategies for clients, fostering strong client relationships and requiring local travel to client sites.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to clients in areas of Health & Welfare compliance, including HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, 5500, ACA, and DOL.
- Manage the RFP process for new and prospective clients, as well as the renewal and implementation processes.
- Coordinate, develop, and execute project plans and presentations for specific client groups.
- Prior experience in brokerage or insurance industry with a thorough understanding of health plans, funding alternatives, and the ability to think through non-traditional solutions.
- Knowledge of various lines of insurance coverage, including medical, dental, life, STD, LTD, design, and rate structures.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to present to a range of professionals at each client.
- Proficient in Health & Welfare compliance, including HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, 5500, ACA, and DOL.
- Life & Health Licensure or commitment to achieving within 6 months of start date.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all levels of internal staff & management, external clients, prospects, and vendors.
