We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst Apprentice to join our dynamic team at Amazon UK Services Ltd.

This is an exciting opportunity to embark on a 42-month fixed-term contract, working towards the BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions (Data Analysis Pathway) Degree. As a working student, you will dedicate 20% of your time to studying and developing your skills, knowledge, and behaviours to achieve successful graduation.

Your role will involve collecting, organising, and analysing data from various sources, using advanced analytical tools and techniques. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and deliver data-driven solutions that address real-world business challenges.

Responsibilities:
  • Diving into diverse data sets, cleansing and transforming them into structured formats for analysis.
  • Leveraging powerful data visualisation tools to bring information to life, creating compelling visualisations that tell a story.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to unravel complex data sets and uncover valuable insights. Critical thinking and problem-solving are essential, as you'll be tasked with diving into diverse information sets, cleansing and transforming them, and then leveraging data tools to uncover valuable insights.

A key requirement for this role is exceptional attention to detail when managing and analysing large datasets to ensure data accuracy and quality. You will also need to communicate effectively, quickly adapt to changing priorities, and collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to understand their needs and translate them into actionable solutions.

The salary for this position is approximately £25,000 - £35,000 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements:
  • To be eligible for this apprenticeship programme, applicants must be 18 years or over before the start date.
  • Applicants must have the right to live and work in England, hold a valid visa if necessary, and meet other eligibility criteria.
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs C grade (grade 4) or above, including Maths and English, plus additional qualifications such as A Level passes, Level 3 apprenticeships, or International Baccalaureates.

We recommend that applicants possess some knowledge or experience in the IT field, with a passion for data analysis and proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
