Teaching Assistant Role in Wandsworth

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wandsworth. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working with children aged 7-11 and contribute to the development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the teacher in the classroom, providing individualized attention to students as needed.
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation, ensuring a smooth and engaging learning environment.
  • Help to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting social and emotional learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a 2:1 degree from a Russell Group University.
  • Aspirations of working in education as a teacher.
  • Passion for working with children and previous child-centred experience.
