Working Hours: between 8:00am – 6:00pm (flexible working up to 7 hours per day)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Leeds Autism Services. As a Relief Support Worker, you will play a vital role in improving the lives of adults with autism by promoting understanding, acceptance, and inclusion within their communities.

Your primary responsibility will be to support adults with autism in achieving their personal goals and outcomes. This may involve:

  1. Developing and implementing personalized support plans to enhance their skills and confidence
  2. Identifying opportunities for personal growth and development
  3. Promoting physical and mental wellbeing through tailored support and guidance
  4. Supporting individuals to plan and manage their own support
  5. Facilitating effective communication and social understanding
  6. Helping individuals develop coping strategies and manage challenging behaviors
  7. Providing practical and emotional support to ensure the highest quality of life
