Radiation Oncology Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Therapeutic Radiographer to provide high-quality radiotherapy services to cancer patients in Shropshire. As part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will deliver treatment while maintaining patient safety and comfort, and participate in ongoing professional development.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor patient health and inform senior professionals of any problems or concerns.
- Prepare and dispense pharmaceutical preparations according to patient group directives.
- Document and report deviations from prescribed treatment, record observations and comments in the patient's treatment file.
- Negotiate treatment appointment times with patients.
Salary Information:
This is a 6-month contract with a view to extend, working full-time, Monday to Friday, 9-5, at a competitive Band 6 rate of £40,000 per annum, which includes a comprehensive benefits package.
