Senior Highways Technology Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Highways Technology Engineer to join our Transportation team in Birmingham or Salford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and leading technology scheme designs from conception to completion of Preliminary Design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead feasibility studies, options reports, preliminary designs, and technical queries for technology asset schemes.
  • Manage teams, either as a line manager or project lead, tasking and providing guidance and feedback to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and high quality of output.
  • Provide regular project updates on progress, spend, and risk mitigation.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of delivery in ITS consultancy, design, and/or project management.
  • Knowledge of ITS, National Highways Technology Assets, Infrastructure, IoT, Telco, IP technologies, and their applications against the services Kier Transportation supplies.
  • Possess a relevant tertiary qualification in engineering/science-related subject.
