We are seeking a skilled Senior Programmer who can bring their expertise and coding talents to our studio. This is an excellent opportunity for growth and collaboration with experienced engineers. Our new Edinburgh studio offers a dynamic work environment based in the heart of the city, overlooking the historic castle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop key game systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Mentor junior programmers, fostering growth and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Rapidly adapt to new technologies and development practices, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Establish standard methodologies and effectively communicate them to team members and disciplines.
  • Contribute technical expertise and experience to game development challenges.
  • Profiling and optimising game systems for maximum performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of commercial games programming experience.

Requirements:

  • In-depth understanding of engine architecture and full development lifecycle experience.
  • Proven AI knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Experience collaborating with design and content teams.
  • Advanced C++ programming skills.
  • Extensive experience with Unreal Engine.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organisation skills, with a strong team player mentality.
  • A logical thinker with exceptional analytical skills.
  • Excellent mathematical skills.
  • A genuine passion for game programming.
  • Experience working within a collaborative team environment.
