About the Role

As a Software Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing, leading, and developing the Engineers in your team. You will work alongside a Lead Software Engineer to ensure that all aspects of the project are well-managed, from technical leadership to people leadership. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and developing the Engineers in your team
  • Conducting regular 1-1's and team meetings
  • Developing plans and strategies for the team's growth and development
  • Spend about 50% of your time doing hands-on development work to keep your technical skills sharp and up to date

You will also be involved in technical/architectural decisions for the project, ensuring that the company's high standards are met. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Team Lead/Manager in a software setting and will be familiar with modern technologies such as .Net, Angular, Microservices, and DevOps tooling.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong technical skills in .Net, Angular, and Microservices
  • Previous experience as a Team Lead/Manager in a software setting
  • Familiarity with DevOps tooling
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

The salary for this role is around £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. The company offers a range of benefits, including 33 days' holiday, pension, private medical and dental cover, long-term sickness leave, critical illness cover, life insurance, and more.
