About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Consultant to join our team in Abingdon, MD. As an Environmental Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting in preparing project plans and technical reports related to investigation and remediation activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare project plans and technical reports, including boring logs, data tables, and geologic cross sections.
- Develop knowledge of standard field sampling procedures for environmental media, including soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, and air.
- Participate in or lead field sampling teams to collect samples from various environmental media.
- Document and record data and observations in a clear and organized manner.
- Analyze, evaluate, and interpret hydrologic, geologic, and chemical data obtained during investigations.
- 1-2 years of experience in environmental consulting, including field-sampling procedures, monitoring well installation, CERCLA, and DOD installations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to work in both office and outside environments and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
