Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Support Worker to join our team in Dawlish. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting a young man with autism in his own home, helping him to achieve his objectives and deliver complex support within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the individual to access the community for various activities, including swimming, cycling, cinema, and sailing.
  • Assisting with day-to-day living and wellbeing, including maintaining good relationships with family members.
  • Empowering the individual to make their own choices and decisions, promoting independence and autonomy.
  • Working collaboratively with the team to create innovative ways to support the individual, living the life they choose.
Requirements:
  • No previous experience or qualifications required, as full training will be provided.
  • Compassionate, caring, confident, and resilient individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with a high level of motivation, keen to learn in a fast-paced environment and creatively solve problems.
  • Desire to embrace our values and vision, and have fun while making a difference in the lives of others.
