Thera South West is a unique organization led by people with a learning disability. Our vision is to promote that people with a learning disability can be leaders in society. We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Support Worker in the Dawlish area.

As a Support Worker, you will be part of an inclusive team empowered to create innovative ways to support people to achieve their own personal goals, living the life they choose. You will support 1 young man with autism in his own home, to achieve his objectives and deliver complex support within the community in a 24hr supported living setting.

The right applicant will enjoy an active day, swimming, cycling, cinema, sailing, spending time in the garden & sourcing new and exciting activities. You will also play an important role with the families, supporting people to maintain good relationships. If you are caring, committed and compassionate about making a difference, we would love to hear from you.

Full training will be provided, Induction and shadowing is paid time. This role is working weekends and paid sleep ins on a rota system.
