We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our team, working closely with service users to achieve their personal goals and access the support they need on their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer people affected by mental illness the support and help they need to regain their confidence and get involved in everyday social and workplace activities.
  • Work closely with service users to achieve their own personal goals and access all the support they need on their recovery journey.
  • Provide a safe and non-judgmental space for service users to share their experiences and feelings.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other teams and services to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to mental health support.

Requirements:

  • Transferable Life/Work Experience: You bring valuable experiences from your personal or professional life that can be applied to this role.
  • Listening and Empathy: You are a good listener, empathetic, understanding, kind, patient, and willing to learn.
  • Values Alignment: You can demonstrate behaviours consistent with the values of our Charity, including hope, understanding, expertise, equity, commitment, passion, and openness.
