About the Role:

eNL Legal Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced and skilled National Head of Planning to join a leading national law firm. As the National Head of Planning, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of talented planning lawyers, ensuring their growth and development. You will provide expert guidance on a wide range of planning matters, from residential to commercial developments, in both the private and public sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to ensure clients receive the highest quality of legal advice and representation.
  • Prepare a strategic business plan as part of the recruitment process, outlining a three-year strategy for growth and the overall plan for the planning team.
  • Provide technical expertise on planning, highways, and environmental law.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified solicitor with at least ten years of post-qualification experience (PQE) and a strong background in planning law, both in the private and public sectors. Ideally, you will already be a partner in a law firm and be looking for the next challenge in your career.
