We have an exciting opportunity for a Building Cost Manager to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of projects within the Utilities industry. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of projects and ensuring that they are completed within budgetary constraints.
Your primary responsibilities will include conducting detailed cost analysis, evaluating and negotiating contracts, monitoring project expenditure, and providing regular reports on cost performance. You will also collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and contractors to achieve cost-effective solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification and proven experience working with NEC contracts. A strong understanding of cost management principles, contract law, and procurement processes is essential. Proficiency in cost estimating, financial analysis, and budget management is also required.
We offer a competitive salary of £52,000 per annum, hybrid working flexibility, and a company car or car allowance of £450pcm. You will also receive 25 days holiday plus BH, discounts at high street brands, an annual Bupa Health check, professional membership subscription paid for, and 6-month probation.
