About the Role

Nixon McQuade is currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger on behalf of a leading business. Reporting to the AP Manager, you will be responsible for providing all-round support to the department activities with specific responsibility for the Purchase Ledger functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Processing of purchase invoices and credit notes
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Bank and cash allocations
  • Supplier payment runs
  • Liaising with other departments and suppliers to resolve queries
  • Month-end procedures
  • Prepare a weekly cashflow forecast
  • Set up and maintain vendor accounts
Requirements
  • Previous experience in accounts payable
  • The ability to work in a team as well as individually
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
