Allen & York (Built and Natural Environment) Ltd is excited to be working with an award-winning multi-disciplinary consultancy with offices across England. We are currently seeking a Director of Conservation and Development to join our team in Liverpool, UK.

This role comes with a competitive salary of £90,000 - £120,000 per annum. As the successful candidate, you will lead the expansion of national ecology services across the Group and be involved in a diverse range of exciting projects across the UK.

The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience in ecological surveys including Phase 1 Habitat Surveys, Ecological Impact Assessments, Biodiversity Enhancement & Management Plans, Natural England licence applications (bats, great crested newt and badger) and Biodiversity Net Gain assessments.

You will also have extensive experience in carrying out and co-ordinating biodiversity impact assessments, BNG option assessments for planning applications and drafting and agreeing Biodiversity Gain Plans.
