We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Site Manager to join our team at Austin Fraser. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in traditional build schemes and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior construction professional to take on a leadership role and oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the site, managing a team of tradespeople and labourers, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

The salary for this role is £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a 20% bonus and a range of other benefits including fuel allowance, holiday entitlement, and healthcare cover.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a busy site with a team of tradespeople and labourers
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain high standards of quality and safety on site
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring that the project is delivered within budget
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in traditional build schemes
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • CSCS card and first aid certification
