Clinical Applications Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Applications Specialist to support customers in the medical imaging field. This role is key to ensuring the smooth adoption of cutting-edge ultrasound products and fostering long-term relationships. You will work closely with Regional Sales Managers to meet the clinical needs of customers, demonstrate products, and provide essential post-sales support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Training: Install ultrasound systems at customer sites and provide thorough training to ensure effective use of the product.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with sales teams to demonstrate product capabilities, assist in closing deals, and support clinical discussions.
  • Post-Sales Ownership: Take charge of customer relationships post-sale, ensuring product satisfaction and handling any technical or clinical issues.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Actively manage client interactions through a CRM tool, updating relevant information and tracking sales/clinical activities.
  • Client Visits & Events: Represent the company at key client sites, regional, national, and international events, maintaining strong business relationships.
  • Identify Opportunities: Recognize potential for upselling and cross-selling within new and existing customer bases and communicate these opportunities to the sales team.

Requirements

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years in diagnostic imaging, preferably ultrasound such as a nurse/ Sonographer, or at least 2 years in a similar Clinical Applications Specialist role with a proven ability to learn ultrasound technology quickly.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong capability to identify issues and provide customer-focused solutions on-site, via phone, or email.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for managing relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Well-organized, able to manage multiple tasks, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, CRM tools, and fluent in English (and relevant local languages).
    • Additional Requirements:
    • Must reside in the designated region and meet all local governmental requirements (e.g., background checks, vaccinations) to access hospital settings.
    • Valid driving license and willingness to travel up to 50%, occasionally outside regular business hours.
    • Ability to lift and move medical equipment weighing up to 10kg.
