About the Role

As a Financial Advisory Manager, you will play a key role in providing tax advice on the restructuring of financially distressed businesses. You will work closely with our financial advisory colleagues and external stakeholders to understand the complex commercial and legal requirements of each restructuring transaction. Your expertise will be essential in developing a strategy for achieving the commercial aims in a tax-efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tax strategies for restructuring transactions
  • Collaborate with financial advisory colleagues and external stakeholders to understand transaction requirements
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate tax implications and recommendations
  • Advising insolvency practitioners on tax consequences of their actions
  • Supporting business development activities and contributing to the technical and personal development of the team
Requirements
  • ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification or experience
  • Strong UK tax technical skills
  • Excellent communication, team playing, and project management skills
  • Ability to perform strongly under pressure
