The Role

We are seeking a Senior Gameplay Programmer to join our team, responsible for exploring, creating, and delivering world-leading innovation in software and VR hardware.

You will work with cutting-edge technologies on new platforms and VR headsets, prototyping and iterating gameplay mechanics and game systems.

As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the quality of gameplay of our next VR game, a globally recognized leading game within its genre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and product owners to deliver high-quality gameplay mechanics
  • Design and implement combat systems, including player/enemy interactions, encounter design, enemy design, and AI
  • Develop and maintain gameplay ability systems (GAS) and state trees
  • Work with Unreal's animation system and EQS to create immersive gameplay experiences
  • Contribute to the development of games with strong melee elements
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional game development experience
  • Strong experience in C++ development and a good understanding of Blueprint
  • Comprehensive understanding of combat design and gameplay mechanics
  • Experience with full-cycle development and delivery of high-quality games
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent industry experience
Preferred Skills
  • VR development experience on Quest, Vive, or comparable flagship headsets
  • Experience with Gameplay Ability System (GAS) and State Trees
  • Experience with EQS and Unreal's animation system
  • Experience with games featuring strong melee elements
