Job Title: Distribution Centre Site Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Distribution Centre Site Lead to join our team at Calor Gas Ltd. in Bristol. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day activities of our distribution centre, ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of our products to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of distribution centre staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of daily operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory, stock levels, and delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and logistics teams, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and other external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a distribution centre or logistics management role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
