Job Title: Class 1 Day Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Class 1 Day Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to retail stores on curtain side and box trailers, collecting multiple containers from port for delivery to distribution centres, and maintaining regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver goods to retail stores on curtain side and box trailers
  • Collect multiple containers from port for delivery to distribution centres
  • Maintain regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress
  • Attend regular training sessions
Requirements:
  • Must have a UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
  • Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Working to deadlines
  • Confident, polite and a team player
  • Good geographical knowledge
Benefits:
  • Basic salary for Class 1 Day Driver is £38,287pa, based on working 48 hours per week
  • Hours of work are Monday – Friday, starting between 03:00hrs – 07:00hrs
