Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Nurse to join our client's team in a Medium Sized Nursing Home in Manchester. The home provides high-quality care to elderly residents with dementia and general nursing needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the care of residents with complex medical needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Lead and manage a team of care assistants to ensure high-quality care delivery
  • Liaise with the multidisciplinary team, including doctors and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a Good CQC status by ensuring excellent care standards

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in elderly care
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
