About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Lead to join our team at the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA). As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in leading complex projects in the water sector, utilizing your expertise in project management, infrastructure, and water management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects through business case gateways, ensuring successful implementation and delivery of water sector solutions.
  • Develop and maintain effective partnerships with stakeholders, including local authorities, the Environment Agency, and water sector organizations.
  • Collaborate with senior management and teams to drive project success and achieve business objectives.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on project management, infrastructure, and water management.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in project management, with a focus on complex projects in the water sector.
  • Strong understanding of the water sector, including current industry challenges and regulatory pressures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to think critically and strategically, with a focus on delivering impact and achieving business objectives.
