About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join our team at Lead Careers. As a Senior Landscape Architect, you will be responsible for leading projects from initial concept through to completion, managing client relationships, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage landscape architecture projects of varying scales
  • Prepare and supervise the development of landscape masterplans, detailed designs, and construction documentation
  • Provide expert technical and design guidance
  • Engage with clients, stakeholders, and consultants
  • Contribute to the preparation of planning applications, feasibility studies, and design reviews
  • Mentor junior team members
  • Manage project resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure efficient and timely delivery
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Stay updated on industry trends
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in Landscape Architecture
  • Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) or on the P2C
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in landscape architecture
  • Proven track record of leading and managing complex landscape projects from concept to completion
  • Strong design, technical, and presentation skills, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other industry-standard software. Experience with BIM and 3D visualization is advantageous
  • In-depth understanding of UK planning systems, environmental regulations, and construction processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A collaborative team player with leadership capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
