We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mental Health Nurse to join our All Age Autism Intensive Support Team in Coventry and Warwickshire. The successful candidate will work with individuals with Autism who are in mental health crisis, providing clinical assessments, risk assessments, and autism-informed interventions to reduce the risk of hospital admission.
Main Responsibilities:
- Clinical assessments and risk assessments to identify individuals at risk of mental health crisis
- Delivery of autism-informed interventions to reduce the risk of hospital admission
- Collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team to create autism profiles and provide individualized training to families and care providers
- Mental health check-ins and trauma-informed practice
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a specialist team that has been successful in supporting children and adults with Autism and mental health needs. The team works systemically to understand and support the significant impact and challenges experienced by individuals with Autism who are in mental health crisis, and their families.
