Job Summary:

DataCareers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supplier Partnership Manager to join our team. As a key member of our buying team, you will play a crucial role in driving the development, delivery, and margin performance of our online rewards range proposition.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves working with a global network of 70+ suppliers to ensure the best products and pricing are available. You will be responsible for compiling, analysing, and interpreting data to assist with margin management and provide a commercially viable, appealing range of merchandise at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build, manage, and maintain relationships with suppliers to include negotiation, service agreement, and performance reviews to ensure excellent quality of service and adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
  • Data Analysis: Compile, analyse, and interpret data to assist with margin management and provide a commercially viable, appealing range of merchandise at competitive prices.
  • Operational Implementation: Lead the operational implementation of new Reward supplier/offering from brief to launch, including assisting in the sales process where necessary.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to internal stakeholders with regards to selling and operating the rewards products.
  • Ad Hoc Travel: Occasional unsocial hours with ad hoc overseas travel.

Requirements:

  • Commercial Experience: Extensive experience in an online retail, buying, or range management role.
  • International Product Propositions: Experience of international product propositions, product range specification, and negotiation in an online retail or B2B or drop shipping environment.
  • Data Analysis: Previous experience of working with and using data and databases to present and support decision-making processes and commercial business updates.
  • Commercial Awareness: High level of commercial awareness.
  • Project Management: Self-starter and 'closer' of projects.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of the English language (spoken as well as written). Other languages are a bonus but not essential.
