Security Manager Position

We are working with a Global Brand with HQ based in York to find a highly skilled and experienced Security Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement robust security strategies, policies, and procedures to mitigate risks and prevent security incidents.
- Play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our people, assets, and reputation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as HR, Legal, and IT, to ensure a holistic approach to security risk management and compliance.
- Monitor and analyse security incidents and trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security threats and weaknesses.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance security capabilities and stay updated on emerging threats and trends.
- Oversee the implementation of physical security measures, such as access control systems, CCTV surveillance, and perimeter protection.
- Lead incident response efforts, ensuring a swift and effective response to security incidents, and conducting thorough investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to security, and ensure compliance across all operations.
- Collaborate with the Market Head Of Security Manager to understand and implement the Nestlé Group Security strategy.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify security gaps and vulnerabilities, and develop action plans to address them effectively.
Requirements:
- A deep understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies is crucial.
- Knowledge of physical security measures, access control systems, information security protocols, risk assessment methodologies, and incident response procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify vulnerabilities and risks, and develop effective solutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to communicate security policies, procedures, and guidelines to employees at all levels of the organisation.
- Adaptability and continuous learning to stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and emerging trends.
- A keen eye for detail and ability to assess risks comprehensively.
- Ethical conduct and integrity to uphold high standards of security and confidentiality.
