About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical and Operational Manager to lead our Inpatient Mental Health Dietetics Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and management of the service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality dietetic care to patients across Derbyshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational leadership and management of the inpatient dietetic service, including service development, team meetings, staffing and budget management, recruitment, training, and service risk assessment.
  • Lead on catering improvement projects and meet hospital food standards.
  • Develop and deliver nutritional training to other healthcare professionals.
  • Carry a defined clinical caseload and support other dietitians within the team.
  • Identify, initiate, and implement service development projects, including audit and policy development.
  • Represent dietetics at the inpatient nutrition steering group.
