About the Role:
- Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
- Location: Tameside
- Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and services to the Council and its committees
- Carry out duties in a proactive, enabling manner to facilitate policy objectives and effective governance
- Maintain accurate records and provide statistical and management information as required
- Support and cover for other staff, as needed, to participate in development appraisal reviews and identify training needs
Requirements:
- Proven experience in litigation procedures, advocacy, and professional legal advice
- Strong ICT skills across all Microsoft products
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
