Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join Thames Water as a Leakage Optimization Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and addressing leaks in our water network, ensuring the efficient delivery of this essential service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze data from various systems to identify potential leaks and areas of improvement in our water network.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize leakage detection and reduction, working closely with our Leakage Engineer and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and coordination in addressing leaks and improving network performance.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on hydraulic systems and water network management to support the development of our leakage strategy.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our leakage action plan, working closely with the Leakage Engineer and other stakeholders.
  • Support the team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of our water network, including data on leaks, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems and water network management, with a strong understanding of leakage detection and reduction strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Full driving license and own transport (desirable).
