Operations Manager

As an Operations Executive at Evelyn Partners, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial services institution. Your primary responsibility will be to perform daily duties, checking and general processing of all static data functions, in a timely and accurate basis, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard and work produced within deadlines, with any anomalies reported to your line manager within agreed timescales.
- Meet personal and team KPIs/KRIs/MIR, assist in collating MI, and highlight any issues to management.
- Respond to telephone and email enquiries in a timely, professional manner, liaising with fund managers and external parties where relevant, and escalating any issues where necessary.
- Log, maintain, and respond to written client enquiries in a timely manner, ensuring all client and external documents are relevant and up-to-date.
- Contribute to the review of team tasks, identifying improvements to enhance client service, and participate in ad-hoc project-related work where necessary.
- Adopt a high-quality culture to minimize errors and ensure high-quality service levels are delivered, with all work completed to a high level of accuracy, including data input, document checking, and payments.
- Support and provide cover for other members of the team and wider department as and when required.
- Assist with training new recruits to the team in BAU activities, acting as a positive role model.
- Ensure fair treatment of clients is at the forefront of all activities, with all interactions conducted in an open and transparent manner.
- Demonstrate an understanding and application of the Group's Conduct Risk Framework, ensuring knowledge and skills are maintained and developed in line with industry, regulatory, and internal requirements through regular and appropriate continuous professional development (CPD).
- Operate in accordance with division's policies and procedures manuals.
- Experience gained within a financial services institution, especially in Operations, is advantageous but not essential.
- Demonstrable interest in financial services and investment management.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, with a minimum basic level in Word and intermediate level in Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate well both written and verbally to senior audiences.
- Ability to work well in a team but also comfortably work individually.
- Demonstrate ability to understand and summarize complex information in a professional and concise manner.
- Ability to solve problems quickly.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to organize workloads effectively and meet tight deadlines.
- Responding to queries from both internal and external parties in a timely manner and providing a high level of customer service both internally and externally.
